About the event
In April 1623 (400 years ago!), two more ships, the Anne and the Little James, sailed from London to America. They were the last of the four ships which are regarded as 'the Mayflower expedition', following after the Mayflower itself (1620) and the Fortune (1621). On board the Anne were a number of Southwark residents, including one of the main financiers of the expedition.
