About the event
The Rotherhithe and Bermondsey Local History Society are proud to give you another collaberated event between us and the team behind the Salter Centenary.
The event will be focused on living conditions and the wider determinants of health in Bermondsey in the interwar period, as well as the innovations the Bermondsey Revolution brought in to improve the health of local residents.
About the Speaker
"I completed my undergraduate degree in mediaeval and Renaissance studies at the University of Michigan, I did a master’s degree and doctorate in history at Oxford. After completing a traineeship at the West Glamorgan Archive Service in Swansea, I qualified as an archivist at UCL. I came to Southwark in March 2010 from the University of Surrey, where I catalogued the personal papers of EH Shepard."
